Remote-First Company Entara Named by Best and Brightest as Top Company to Work for in the Nation

CHICAGO– Entara,a security-first eXtended Service Provider with remote employees throughout the United States, has made the national list of Best and Brightest Companies to Work for in the Nation in addition to being named Chicago’s Best and Brightest Company for seven years in a row. This is the first year Entara has made the national list after being named Chicago’s Best and Brightest Company for seven years in a row.

In order to be recognized, companies must differentiate themselves by demonstrating a commitment to excellence in their human resources practices and employee enrichment. Organizations are evaluated based on categories such as communication, work-life balance, employee education, diversity, recognition, retention, and more by an independent research firm. The evaluation includes an employer questionnaire and an employee engagement survey. These results are compared to other participating companies across the nation to determine the Best and Brightest Companies in the Nation.

Entara also scored above the national average for several questions asked in the employee survey on topics such as Entara’s commitment to their community, the quality of Entara’s benefits offerings, like retirement savings and wellness, and the work/life balance employees are able to achieve at Entara.

“We are so proud to be named as one of the Best and Brightest Companies to Work for in the Nation,” said Entara CEO and President, Pamela Diaz. “As a remote first company, we have the privilege of hiring talent from all over the country, and it is so important to me that our employees feel valued, supported, and seen even though we work and live states away from each other. This award recognizes the work of many people at Entara, from our leadership team, our managers, to our HR department, who make Entara a community that our employees are proud to be apart of.”

A large focus of Entara’s application for this award was the firm’s new passion statement, “securing our future.” This statement focuses on the security of not only Entara’s clients and their own firm, but their employees and the wider community. As outlined in the award application, one way Entara is living this passion statement is through their CultureCommittee, which is a group of Entara Corps members from multiple departments that regularly meet to discuss how they can make the culture at Entara even better. The Culture Committee acts as the voice of the Entara Corps and brainstorms and executes ideas, in partnership with the leadership team, to enhance the work experience of all at Entara. In the last year, the committee created campaigns to celebrate Women’s History Month and Black History Month, launched new wellness initiatives, supported quarterly charitable giving campaigns, revamped Entara’s internal news show, and more.
