Entara CEO & President Spotlighted by NIU Alumni Association

Chicago – Entara CEO and President Pamela Diaz was featured in an article by Northern Illinois University (NIU) Alumni Association,“First-Generation Huskie pamd, ’90, Champions Opportunity and Diversity as Entara CEO.” The article focuses on Diaz’s efforts to be the first in her family to attend college, as well as her dedication to mentoring the next generation of leaders at Entara.

In the article, Diaz recalls the perseverance it took work full time while pursuing a business degree at NIU. “It was a struggle but so incredibly worth it,” Diaz said. “The sense of accomplishment I felt walking across the stage in front of my parents and family made every sleepless night worth it.”

Diaz also reflected on her time after graduating from NIU when she started her career in the financial industry before transitioning to the IT industry. She discussed the exciting journey Entara is currently on to grow as a company and develop new security offerings to minimize risk while providing a great client experience. She explained that in order to best serve our clients, we have to prioritize the well-being of our employees. “Creating a great workplace culture is not only important for the health of our employees and their communities, but it also impacts the health of Entara as a company,”Diaz said. “I believe that supporting the development of our DEI program at Entara will have lasting effects on the company and our employees, and I am grateful to be in a position where I can champion it.”

Diaz is an experienced leader and has spent her career connecting organizations with the solutions and assets that their businesses need to thrive. She has over 25 years of experience working in the investment and asset management industry and is passionate about connecting with individuals who stretch to continuously improve our future and challenge the status quo.

Additionally, Diaz is on the Board of Directors of Bounce Children’s Foundation, an organization transforming the lives of chronically ill children and their families and serves as the Chair of the Governance Committee. She is also very involved with the Female Integrator Mastermind(FIM), a peer-to-peer female mentoring group, and is on the Events Committee.Through FIM, she regularly presents about equality and female empowerment.
